Ya we all need plans to do something.

Dun wake up and have no goals in your mind. Then the day is wasted, and wait till the important dates are coming nearer and nearer and dun blame anybody but yourself for trying too hard to leave everything till the last min…well miracles do happen but not unnecessarily at the correct moment all the time.

We also need to plan what to do AFTER the exams so that we have the motivation towards the end. I have planned out some movies and shows to watch HAHA! And also PSP GAMES! 期待！

Today went to vivocity with mum to have lunch there at 黑社會 Bosses Restaurant. It is a typical chinese food restaurant and we tried the dim sum over there. Average only…not as fabulous as 東海 restaurant over at orchard.

Might be watching a movie with jun hao and kk on tuesday too.

Breaks are important!

Of course, everyday need to mousehunt de la. I need to reach 12 million exp so that i can change my trap to a better one!! Tmr shall be the day haha!!

Boring…

My life is now quite boring, other than the usual facebook games the only additional thing is studying at home…trying to complete studying the modules i am taking. Nothing interesting. The most interesting thing i can think of is probably going out to have dinner with gum and jun hao on friday after gum’s seminar at school. I also went back to school to 順便 collect my lab reports and print my stuff.

THE GEOGRAPHY READINGS ARE REALLY THICK LA!!!

The reason why i am printing them out is hopefully i can get an A at the end of the day la. But my projects are all B+ standard so i dunno whether i have what it takes for an A student, since i am not an Arts student and there are 444 students taking the module (nice number). And mostly all arts students who have no fear for essay questions and i have the disadvantage of not taking A level geography.

This is the module which i am not very confident of…and the highest uncertainty in the final grade. I am printing the readings so that i can go read them and hopefully apply some examples from the readings.

The money has been spent so might as well make full use of it. I really hate to SU this module because firstly i have printed out ALL the readings = waste money if SU. Secondly, i have devoted much time to do the human geog projects and writing an essay for one portion of the project and also cracked my brain for the physical geog lab analysis as well. SU-ing it is really very wasteful of my efforts la…it is like might as well you dun do all this hard work.

Anyway we have Fish and Co dinner on friday…nice Seafood Platter for two…shared among THREE of us. Haha! Just nice. Although gum and jh still went to eat the fake taiwan crispy chicken and we all drank bubble tea and shopped around JP for a while in the hope of shopping for gum’s good-looking shirt decent for a wedding event. Too bad gum did not 看得上 any of the shirts so the whole shopping trip was futile.

It was nice to get away with home and not think about exams and mugging once in a while. Love the feeling of getting away from the thick aura of LECTURE NOTES which suffocate people…

王心凌 - 美丽的日子新歌加精选

每一次歌手一旦換新唱片公司，舊東家就會在閥片前幾周推出所謂超值的精選輯，好好地撈一筆，以前孫燕姿跳去Capitol的時候華納也是一樣推出超誇張的精選輯，蔡依林從Sonybmg跳到Capitol也是如此，跳到華納也是如此，驚訝的是爲什麽歌手都有那麽多rejected pieces可以任唱片公司利用在這類型的精選輯。

新歌有《美丽的日子》，《等》，《轻微》，《当爱情来了》和《女生最怕》

《美丽的日子》和《当爱情来了》是王心凌典型的甜蜜歌曲，不會太over，但沒什麽驚喜。

《等》和《轻微》是我喜歡的慢歌，聼王心凌的慢歌，就會認爲爲什麽王心凌不想好好地朝這個方向走，而是朝太過甜蜜的方向走，其實王心凌唱起抒情歌曲還蠻好聼的，只是往往不是專輯的重點，模糊了好的歌曲。

《女生最怕》是胡彥斌的作品，有點迷幻風，讓我印象深刻，因爲我不會料到王心凌會嘗試這類型的歌曲，但有新鮮感，效果出來是不錯的，讓我有點驚訝，是不錯的嘗試。

是時候走出甜蜜的風格了，期待在金牌大風的作品為聽衆帶來不一樣的王心凌吧。

這次推出迷你專輯（算是單曲啦），嚴格來説只有兩首新歌，《禮物》其實是《寂寞光年》的曲（80time作曲），只是詞是由劉力揚作詞，《寂寞光年》是《雙子星》的主體曲，對新加坡人來說不陌生，坦白說，《禮物》的詞配合曲有點不搭，韻腳也顯得怪怪的，不比《寂寞光年》的詞來得出色，《寂寞光年》的詞配合了曲所呈現出來的寂寞感和空虛感，寫得比較實在，但曲很沉重，不會想要多聼幾遍，況且歌曲有點冗長（5分多鈡的歌曲），聼了幾遍后難以消化。

《崇拜你》唱出了隨性，旋律好聽。《梅花香》中國風歌曲不過火，有新鮮感。

《一個人就好》對於《愛就宅一起》的觀衆並不陌生，旋律依然動聽。

這張專輯有可聼度，只是爲何只有5首歌曲，太浪費了。

袁咏琳 - 同名专辑

如果常去CD店，就應該會看到這張專輯，在臺灣發片的新人能夠在新加坡接近同步發片沒幾個，靠的是關係多過知名度吧，畢竟沒幾個知道她是誰，只知道她是周傑倫公司的師妹。

打著全創作新一代女聲，對新人來説是不錯的，才會引起注意。

但．．．創作歸創作，創作的個性也要跳出來，聼完專輯后，對於音樂上的創作感到模糊，不知道專輯走的方向是什麽，音樂上的個性也有點模糊。

和徐佳瑩相比，袁咏琳的創作沒有那麽討好，有一點千篇一律，有一點太過普通，沒有什麽驚喜，太過expected了，the surprise element is absent。

這也是爲什麽對於創作的方向和風格模糊的原因吧，聼她的創作和其他音樂人的創作有太多相同的東西了。

而不幸的是，歌聲也沒什麽辨識度，也不算很甜美，或是實力派的感覺，有點平凡。就連和周傑倫合唱的《画沙》也救不了專輯。

安慰的是《I’m Sorry》編曲方面還蠻新鮮的，算是小驚喜吧，還有《舞带威胁》這類搖滾歌曲，還ok，但像《热气球》，《你不爱我了》，《很旅行的爱情》就只是平庸之作了，少了也沒差。

聼了幾遍，漸漸愛上了它，簡單的旋律但卻很有feel的歌曲，詞也寫得很好（作詞：姚若龍，作曲：陳小霞）

有點憂傷，但不至於太煽情，最後的結尾還是抱著希望的，還是樂觀的，若現實生活中人人都能夠像歌詞裏那麽放得下的話就好了，可惜愛情往往不是如此這麽簡單。。。

慢慢欣賞吧！

IPPT + 可愛雞 @ Coronation Plaza

Haha, didn’t expect i would pass with incentive la. I was hoping to pass only coz my standing board jump and pull up are not the silver standard already after nua-ing after ORD, so i was quite happy and surprised in the end got $100 extra from ippt. My 2.4km timing was a surprise too, coz initially i failed during the cat test on the very first IPT session, like 12 min 40 seconds, now is silver timing (though super luckily, if 3 more seconds my $100 gone liao!)

Not bad la, my window is finally cleared for the year. Next year i think everything will repeat itself again coz i am totally not confident of my SBJ. My 1st try this evening was like 189 cm la!!! Luckily on the second try is 216 cm coz there will NOT be N attempts like back in unit/sch when they all want you to pass. The 點 in IPPT sessions like this is that a lot of people will just SL (算了) and dun care, because they have immunity from IPT. So, just heck care and clear everything, even if fail also the IPPT window will be cleared. So die die in the 2 attempts you can jump 到 pass, cannot reset de lor. If not people queuing up will 瞪死你吧!

After clearing the ippt with jun hao, we decided NOT to go to our 老地方 King Albert Park’s Mac liao. Today shall end with 可愛雞, a hwa chong territory!

Moving forward…

By now i think everyone should already know their mid-term results already. For me, except for the last geog practical plus the cm1131 practicals (cm1101 last 2 practicals by right can go back sch take already, but too bad i wun go back sch and waste a trip there just to collect the lab reports, so will be collecting them on 1st day of exam), the rest of the results are known. Luckily for me, the results are not bad, with only GEK1535 atmosphere mid term a bit screwed up unexpectedly.

Revision is going smoothly i suppose. I really think should adopt a 平常心 in revision and try to finish a certain goal in your mind for that day so that you have that kind of satisfaction. Like for example you plan to finish 2 chapters, make sure u really finish that 2 chapters at the end of the day.

If mid-term tests results are not good, perhaps it is time to really move on. No point crying over spilled milk and we should look at the future which is more important than the past.

Human Geography Projects Results Will be Out Today!!

Oh my…this afternoon i will be going back to school to attend my final lecture for my geography GEK module and at the same time i will be getting back the human geography projects results!! Really hope we can get a good score because we have spent a lot of time on it researching and doing interviews and writing up the essay!

卓文萱 - Play n Fun 1+1

新歌+精選輯

說說新歌吧。《真相大白》和Q & A 合唱，和《在你身邊》一樣，延續了以往卓文萱甜而不膩的音樂風格，還不錯。《一秒也好》非常討好的典型 K 歌，優美旋律真叫人動心。另一首典型抒情歌是《1+1》，表現不俗。

《忘了我是谁》和《Especially for you》就還好，沒什麽感覺，只是《忘了我是谁》全新編曲有新鮮感，但和品冠合唱就感覺少了什麽。《Especially for you》是一首英文歌曲，和立威廉合唱，感覺有些甜蜜，但似乎不夠。

這是一張蠻expected的一張精選，還好精選的舊曲還不錯，首首主打又好聽的歌曲，能夠吸引歌迷購買。

卢广仲 - 七天

喜歡盧廣仲的原創音樂，喜歡他瀟灑的音樂風格，不按理出牌的音樂驚喜連連，充滿新鮮感，這樣的音樂享受不是每個人都有，除了林宥嘉之外，盧廣仲的才華是值得受到肯定和支持的。

特別喜歡《I No》的副歌，旋律非常扣人心弦，也喜歡《开心餐厅》和《再见勾勾》的嬉皮和好玩的感覺，特別是《再见勾勾》，聼得時候情不自禁會跟著音樂擺動，隨著音樂動起來，是一首輕快的歌曲，讓人享受一下快樂的音樂。

《風雨》是專輯裏一首非常亮的歌曲，聼旋律的走向就知道這首歌會抓住聽衆的耳朵，注意聆聽（特別是副歌），非常優美。《听见了吗》也有相同的效應。

《最寂寞的时候》以鋼琴聲為主（而不是吉他），呈現不同的味道，和其他歌曲相比相當突出。

這張專輯延續了上一張專輯的風格和質感，為華語樂壇注入新的音樂生命，也為千篇一律的華語歌曲帶來希望。

林宥嘉 - 感官/世界

有質感的一張專輯。

林宥嘉的專輯風格從第一張專輯就可以看到了，音樂不受市場壓力，只唱自己喜歡的歌曲，而歌曲往往和一般市面上千篇一律的流行樂不一樣。

《看见什么吃什么》歌詞非常有意思，把人生比喻成大食堂，每個人各自在食堂中吸取不同養分的歌詞意境，很有趣的想法，為音樂歌詞帶來新的生命和靈感。

《耳朵》也是如此，寫得非常特別，只有嘴巴，只有眼睛，少了耳朵的愛情會是什麽樣的愛情？姚若龍的觀點充滿新鮮感。

《飘》和《心酸》雖然編曲有點沉悶，但仔細聆聽的話，歌曲是很有味道，很有意境的。《感同身受》是我比較喜歡的歌曲，旋律動聽。

美中不足或許這張專輯感覺有點像陳奕迅的style，《説謊》的副歌也有點像他的《淘汰》，諷刺的是《淘汰》的開場詞也在“説謊”。

這是一張好的專輯，證明了只要肯好好做一張專輯，品質就會好，而不是爲了銷售量或迎合市場而出專輯，出發點若是正確的話，在樂壇才會受矚目。

There is no official MV for this great song but I am still touched by this song until today (even though i have watched the idol drama quite some time ago). The 編曲 for this song is really good. It suits the drama a lot and it makes your heart break whenever you listen to the song.

Ya i know exams are coming but relaxing is part of the programme too! Su wai, jun hao and me went for kbox singing session at clementi on saturday. Plenty of new songs and nice relaxing klunch session before we are back to reality of exams again. Well saturday was “wasted” on completing my lab report which luckily i finished it at the end of the day

This morning also finally cleared my cm1101 assignment and uploaded it. I was thinking whether i should upload it in the evening but heck la, as if i will go back and look at it again…hope no careless mistakes and hope i am correct la…

CM1101 mid term results are up on IVLE without notice la lol. I got the sms from sok koon and i was so 緊張 to CLICK to view my results (because of the 陰影 for gek1535 coz i didn’t do well for the mid term for that module)

But in the end the grade that came out after i clicked was better than satisfactory la…so it is a 強心針 for me :)

Melvin’s 21st Birthday Celebration @ Modesto

On friday, went to modesto at vivocity for melvin’s 21st birthday celebration. It was a restaurant which 主打 pasta and pizza but really expensive. Too bad i did not order something that is spectacular so i didn’t really enjoy the dinner in the restaurant but nvm la, the ambience was great though.

I ordered Spaghetti Alla Carbonara. As you can see the food names are all in italian, which makes it hard to tell your friends what you ordering!!!

当《傻瓜》成爲了溫嵐的成名曲時，緊接著應該是順著這首歌曲的優勢推出專輯，而不是感覺又卡在原地不動的一張舞曲專輯。

這次舞曲太多了，重點是舞曲的選歌方面做得不好，沒有什麽印象，慢歌只有《刺蝟》有讓我注意到，詞寫得很實在：

我想我沒那麼堅強每個女孩其實一樣
渴望著愛情的好渴望被擁抱卻都害怕愛讓人受傷
承認我沒那麼堅強不過是一而再的逞強
小心將情緒收藏比傻瓜還傻
刺蝟的堅強全都是假象

生活化地描寫著自我保護的感覺，確實很容易打動人。

吳克群的《我全都相信》是一大敗筆，繼郭書瑤的《放棄你》之後，詞寫得爛的另一首歌，不知爲什麽他的詞在這兩首歌曲一直再重復著一些字眼，凸顯出自己創作上的疲態和瓶頸，副歌的詞：

每一句我答應我可以我不會負你
我全都相信相信你說的每一句
每一句只差一句我愛你

是不是很“騙吃”的感覺？副歌的曲又太短，整首歌只有莫名其妙來形容，和之前的《傻瓜》也未免差太遠了吧？

《不要愛上我》的unplugged曲風雖然是不同味道，但似乎唱的時候沒有感覺，聽的時候更是沒什麽feel，浪費了好的歌曲。

其他舞曲只能說是再平庸不過了，染了紅色頭髮搞個宣傳，但音樂元素差強人意，也只能覺得可惜。

Coraline (3D)

Watched this 3D animation movie on tuesday with jun hao at West Mall. The 3D glasses at West Mall (Eng Wah) were not very good because they seem to be quite old coz they are blur even though you keep rubbing it remains quite blur lor. Plus there is this dark tint over the lenses, so by right the movie should be quite bright but because of the 3D glasses the whole screens looked pretty dark. Not as good experience as compared to say vivocity.

The movie was great!! The theme was a little dark but the plot was good and the climax was built very aptly. Highly recommended!

Meeting up to buy Melvin’s present

As you might have read jun hao’s blog, I have been seeing him for this week since monday la! Today is totally unplanned for in the sense that we have to buy melvin’s present today since our schedule is free in the afternoon. We waited for gum till his lecture end at around 4pm before we went to marina square and selected the present.

Afterwards went to changing appetites to have our dinner there. KK joined us also during the dinner.

Mudpie again haha! Devil in your mouth!!

HAHAHAHAH! 20 pc nuggets again after my 6th ipt session at maju camp. A snack to reward myself but quite sinful coz of all the 熱氣. But who cares? IPT sessions are ending soon la, so no more 20 pc nuggets at King Albert’s Park already.

And i wonder why so many people love to mug at mac ah? The environment is conducive meh? So noisy la!
